Introduction

Shinyanga Nguvukazi Development Foundation herein to be referred to as SNDF,is a non-governmental and non-partisan organization registered on 20th September 2011 under section 12(2) of Act No. 24 of 2002 and given registration No.00NGO/00004985.

The head office of the organization is in Kishapu district,

Shinyanga region.

The idea behind founding SNDF was rooted on common

Consent of the members who were touched by many socio-economic problems facing people of Tanzania.

 One of the prominent problems facing most societies

living in Shinyanga (including Kishapu district) are correlated with grave

Violation of human rights perpetrated by investment companies especially mining and fish processing companies.

One of the major factors which ignite these

Violations is ignorance of most of the people on their rights associated with

Rampart poverty, ignorance among the societies.

To eradicate these, SNDF intends to build capacity the local communities in three Districts of Tanzania main land namely:

Kishapu(Shinyanga), Tarime(Mara) and

Kisarawe(Coast region). Communities as well as raising awareness on civic

Education rights and lobby and advocacy.
